[ sim.ulacrum ]

Simulacrum: as a pseudo-image, a constructed image of reality, by for example Roland Barthes. For the Frankfurt Central Station, such a pseudo-image has been constructed by people who walked through the station in everyday situations and who, in this everyday day routine, are otherwise ignored. Through the projected direction of the view of the wall and the security staff in front of it, the everyday gets attention and tension.
