Why you create your own identity the way you create it? To that, here is some thesis from the feminism, which says, that a character is variable -depending on which persons you meet in your life. Fragments and parts of every person are taken over in your character, and get there to something own. (Simone de Beauvoir/ Judith Butler) In this photo and film series, I took personal examples from my friend- and family-circles as well as from complete strange people in the first step and tried to imitate their images as good as I can in the second step, to connect and expand them with my own personality.

my grandma - my grandma and I - my grandma as a part inside of me

I was always trying to put these images in an ideal image of a circle, but no one never succeed to full fill this ideal complete. Diffuse spots remains -and errors and gaps are also woven in, in which the template obviously does not fit, but even these mistakes are a part of this picture, and also a part of me. It was a creation of personality structures that could have been different, but in these moments they shape some parts of me.
